The EDDIE Framework has to interact with external components in order to gain access to historical validated and real-time energy data. For example, through interactions with the Regional Data-sharing Infrastructures of Member States, the EDDIE Framework can gain access to historical validated energy data. Also, by connecting to AIIDA instances deployed on in-house devices at the customers' sites, the EDDIE Framework can gain access to real-time energy data.
